There is a coaching clinic this Saturday April 9th at 12:00 at Ludlow Park - Bill Kozma Field (across from Marvin Elementary School). Parking is at Marvin School or on Gregory Blvd. This clinic is mandatory for all registered coaches but is open to any parent interested in learning how to coach a team or coach their own players. Registered coaches who can't attend, please try to send a team representative.
The coaching clinic will be run by Rit Lacomis. Coach Rit is a former Division 2 college baseball pitcher and a veteran coach with 20 years of experience coaching Stamford High School baseball. He has been an integral part of Norwalk Girls Softball with 6 years of experience coaching competitive travel softball for our program. He is also owner/operator of EST Baseball.
Rit will review practice time management, throwing, fielding, hitting and pitching mechanics as well as practice drill ideas for each age group.
