Norwalk Girls Softball (Norwalk Youth Softball, Inc.) is a Babe Ruth Chartered, 501c3 girls softball organization based in Norwalk, Connecticut. We offer year round softball programming for girls 4 to 14 years of age. As Norwalk's only youth softball program, we are a community-based & community-run organization. We welcome players of all skills and abilities. New players are always welcome regardless of age!
Spring Season: Our main season is in the spring and runs from late April until early July. Registration for this season is from January first until mid-March. We accept players of all skill levels and abilities and strive to create a fun environment for girls to learn the sport of softball, make friends and most of all, have fun!
Fall Season: Our "fall ball" season is new as of 2020. We have expanded this program to include programs for girls at all ages we serve (4-14).
Travel Program: Norwalk Girls Softball offers a competitive travel team program for girls at the 8 & under (Norwalk Crush), 10 & under (Norwalk Zoomers) and 12 & under (Norwalk Riptide) age groups. The 12 & under Norwalk Riptide and 10 & under Norwalk Zoomers hold tryouts in August while the 8 & under Norwalk Crush hold tryouts in May. These teams travel to surrounding towns and compete in the yearly Babe Ruth state tournament and follow the Babe Ruth tournament trail.
Summer and Winter Programming: Norwalk Girls Softball partners with professional coaches in the area to provide clinics in our off-season.
