Our League

Norwalk, Connecticut's Home for Girls Youth Softball

Norwalk Girls Softball is a Babe-Ruth chartered 501c3 youth softball organization based in Norwalk, Connecticut. We offer softball programming for girls 4 to 14 years of age and welcome players of all skill levels and abilities.

Spring Season: Spring is our main softball season. Registration for spring softball is from January to mid-March. The season runs from late April to early July. Girls are grouped by age: 4-6 years (Jr. Rookies), 7-8 years (Rookies), 9-10 years (minors), 11-14 years (majors). Girls' "softball age" is based on their age on December 31st of the previous calendar year.

Fall Season: "Fall Ball" is new as of 2020! Registration for fall softball is from early July to mid-August. The season runs from early September to late October. We have expanded this program to girls at all ages we serve (4-14) and it is a fun and laid-back version of our spring season and mixes a combination of clinics and games depending on age.

Summer and Winter: We partner with professional coaches in the area to offer a variety of clinics and skills development camps.

Competitive Travel Program: The Norwalk Crush, Norwalk Zoomers and Norwalk Riptide are our 8 & under, 10 & under and 12 & under teams (respectively). These teams are chosen in a tryout process and are for girls looking for a more competitive softball experience. These teams travel to surrounding towns and follow the Babe Ruth tournament trail to the CT state tournament and beyond. The 12 & under as well as the 10 & under teams are selected in August while the 8 & under team is chosen in May.
