The parade begins at Veterans Park and ends at the Norwalk Green.   All Softball players and coaches are invited to march!  It's a lot of fun as the girls do their chants, hold our league banner, support Norwalk Girls Softball and of course honor the men and women who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

• This year we are in section 13.  
• The Parade organizers ask that the girls be dropped off at the Seaview Gate (on Seaview Avenue) of Veteran’s Park between 9:00-9:30am.  There is NO PARKING on the field.  If possible, please carpool to Vet’s Park to help ease the congestion.
• We ask that the players wear their uniforms and comfortable sneakers to walk in.  Feel free to accessorize with some patriotic flair! 
• Once the parade steps off, there will be no traffic allowed until the last section departs the Park.  
• The Parade ends at the Green, probably between 11:00-11:30 for our group.  
• Please arrange for pick-up of your children near the Green.
• Parents can park at City Hall and walk to the Green to pick up their daughters.
• We will have several coaches and board members marching as well who will be with the girls the whole time including the end as they wait for a parent to retrieve them.
• Parents are also welcome to march, especially for the youngest girls who wish to march.
• The parade route is approximately 1.5 miles long.
